University of Child Health Sciences Lahore is the first national pediatric institution established with an aim to produce leaders in child health through valid research, creative ideas, quality education, and evolution. The university is a catalyst for the educational, intellectual, professional and personal development of a diverse group of trainees and faculty members who are thoroughly committed to bring qualitative and quantitative revolution in the field of child health. Along with quality education and training, the university is fostering indigenous research activities and pioneering courses in various disciplines of pediatric.
The Children Hospital, Lahore is one of the largest Pediatric Hospitals on the globe with a bed strength of 1190. It offers healthcare services in over 40 clinical, basic and diagnostic disciplines to the pediatric population of Pakistan and neighboring countries, especially Afghanistan.
The concept of The Children Hospital, Lahore was presented in the annual meeting of the Pakistan Pediatric Association in 1984 and the hospital started its outpatient services in May 1995.
