School of Allied Health Sciences

The School of Allied Health Sciences has the honor of being the first institute in Punjab, Pakistan to start with professional degree courses in different disciplines of Allied Health Sciences. Allied Health professionals are an integral part of health delivery services, they play a vital role in the provision of health care with doctors and nurses. We started numerous courses in 2000, this institute was a pioneer institute where initially 3-year B.sc degree courses were offered, and these are now raised to 7 disciplines. The school is conducting a total of 7-degree programs including a 5-year degree program in Doctor of Physical Therapy and, 4-year B.Sc(Hons) in Medical Imaging Technology, Medical Laboratory Technology, Dental Technology, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Pathology, and Operation Theater Technology. Our school has a fully equipped anatomy museum, computer lab, and library. Together with our excellent faculty we have also engaged visiting faculty to educate and train our students. We make it functional by providing a range of diagnostic, technical, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services.
Our students benefit from the numerous leading hospitals to explore a wide range of perspectives and apply theory to real-world problems. To have exposure to adult practice our students are been rotated to Lahore General hospital, Pakistan Society for Rehabilitation of Disabled, Sheikh Zayed Hospital, Mayo Hospital, and Rising Sun Institute. Many students are enrolled in postgraduate programs and in every corner of the world our alumni are providing quality services.
More than 1200 students have graduated since 2000 and together with excellent faculty and strong Athos and well-equipped state of art classrooms, our School has secured 95% result in the year 2021 with distinctions in many subjects. These graduates will help in improving the quality of health care in Pakistan.
