Institutional Quality Circle (IQC)
The Institutional Quality Circle (IQC) of UCHS plays a central role in strengthening the internal quality assurance mechanisms and fostering a culture of academic and professional excellence. Functioning under the leadership of the Vice Chancellor and in close coordination with the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC), the IQC comprises senior faculty members, deans, heads of departments, and administrative leaders. Its primary mandate is to regularly assess, review, and enhance institutional policies, academic programs, teaching methodologies, and administrative processes in accordance with national standards and international best practices. The IQC actively monitors the implementation of quality assurance protocols, ensures the alignment of educational outcomes with the university’s mission, and promotes transparency in academic operations.
It also facilitates feedback-driven improvements through structured engagement with students, faculty, and other stakeholders. Ultimately, the IQC aims to ensure that the university consistently produces highly skilled, ethically grounded, and socially responsible healthcare professionals, while maintaining the integrity and credibility of its academic and clinical training programs.
